Barbara Johnston
Barbara has taught emergency preparedness, no-power cooking, food storage basics, and food storage cooking for more than five years. As a former caterer and gourmet cooking teacher, she is very demanding about flavor and will help you make your food storage not just edible but enjoyable. There will be samples to taste for everyone who attends the classes in person. Barbara's no-power cooking background is the result of her husband owning an online emergency preparedness business. She was the YouTube "star" for the business, demonstrating a variety of emergency preparedness products, including no-power cookers. This combined with her refusing to turn on an oven in the summer and using a Sun Oven, wonder box or Volcano stove instead have given Barbara loads of practical experience.
